CSR approach

The ACWA Group is committed to integrating social responsibility into the heart of its activities by placing respect for people, protection of the environment and technical innovation at the centre of every decision. Goal 6 aims to ensure that everyone has access to water and sanitation, and to manage water resources sustainably. The ACWA Group develops technological products that conserve and save water in swimming pools. We also market Water treatment products to reduce the use of chemicals. Finally, we train and educate our customers about our technical solutions, enabling them to manage water resources more effectively.

F-WEB-Goal-09-EN

Objective 9 aims to build an innovative infrastructure to promote sustainable industrialisation and encourage research and development. The Group’s design office is made up of engineers, each an expert in a particular field of swimming pool design. Our equipment is designed to be eco-responsible and economical in its use (lower energy consumption in water and electricity).

F-WEB-Goal-13-EN

Objective 13 involves integrating practices and technologies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, mitigating climate impacts and promoting the adaptation of structures to the effects of climate change. The ACWA Group is committed to reducing its carbon footprint in all three scopes (1, 2 and 3).

Committed governance

The management of the ACWA Group has launched a number of initiatives to formalise and integrate CSR into its businesses in May 2024. A day on the fundamentals of CSR was organised to raise team awareness of CSR issues. Following this work, a CSR steering committee was set up to monitor the Group’s CSR actions and objectives.
